The Business Program

From first conversation to automated insight.

Four phases. Each stands on its own, each ends in a deliverable you keep, and each one earns the next. You are never asked to buy the whole thing up front.

How it fits together

The arc of the work

The first half establishes what your process really is. The second half turns it into measurement you can run on without us.

UNDERSTAND THE PROCESS MEASURE AND AUTOMATE IT PHASE I Interview & Value Stream Design The first honest picture PHASE II Process Deep Dive & Gap Analysis Where the value leaks PHASE III Data Analytics & KPIs Numbers you can defend PHASE IV Modeling & Insight Automation It runs without us Most engagements begin at Phase I and stop wherever the return stops being obvious. Scope, duration, and fee are set per phase, in writing, before it starts.

What each phase produces

Four phases, four deliverables.

How we get there is our craft. What you get is concrete, and it is yours to keep whether or not you continue.

Phase I

Interview & Value Stream Design

A structured interview that produces the first honest picture of how work actually moves through your business — not how the org chart says it does.

You receive: a value stream design and an executive summary of the process as it stands today.

Phase II

Process Deep Dive & Gap Analysis

We go past what the interviews revealed, into what the process actually does — across production, the business and accounting side, decision rights, and how information moves.

You receive: a process flow chart, the gaps quantified and ranked, KPIs specific to your operation, and an improvement proposal.

Phase III

Data Analytics

The data your operation already creates, made usable — collected, cleaned, validated, and then actually examined. This phase alone is enough to set a business apart from its competition.

You receive: a working data pipeline and a plain-language summary of what your numbers say.

Phase IV

Modeling & Insight Automation

Closes the loop. Insight arrives on a schedule instead of on your to-do list, from collection through to the screen you look at.

You receive: models fitted to your operation and a business intelligence dashboard your team runs without us.

Curious where you would start? The free assessment runs a condensed version of the Phase I interview and tells you which phase your answers point to.

Where AI fits

AI cannot see what your process does not record.

That sentence is the whole of our position on it. Used on an instrumented process, these tools are genuinely useful and we use them. Used on a process that leaves no trace, they produce confident nonsense — which is worse than no answer at all.

What it does well, in our hands

Reads records that were never data

Work orders, delivery tickets, invoices, service notes, email threads. Paper and PDF turn into something countable. For most small operations this is where the largest blind spot closes first.

Surfaces patterns nobody thought to query

Anomalies and relationships across your operating data, raised as candidates for a human to judge. It proposes; you and we decide.

Answers in plain language

Ask your own numbers a question in a sentence, and get a written account of what changed this week and what moved it — instead of a dashboard you have to interpret alone.

What we will not tell you it does

  • It will not invent data you never captured. A stage with no record stays invisible no matter how good the model is.
  • It will not fix a broken process. Automating a bad process gets you the same bad outcome, faster and at more expense.
  • It will not replace your judgment. You know things about your business that were never written down. The goal is to give that judgment evidence to argue with.
  • It will not be sold to you as a phase. Where it earns its place we use it and say so. Where it does not, we will tell you that too.

The order matters

Instrument the process first, then apply the model. Nearly every disappointing AI project we have seen skipped the first step — and the free assessment will tell you honestly which side of that line your business is on today.

Not sure which phase you need?

The free assessment ends with a recommendation — which phase your answers point to, and how ready your operation is for the automated end of the work.
